Readers with an interest in migration and population changes in the Yorkshire and Humber Region with find this report very valuable.
Although it was written over a year ago, the context and data remain fresh and useful. Refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Yorkshire and the Humber, by Hannah Lewis, Gary Craig and Mick Wilkinson was written for Yorkshire Future.
As part of its continuing devolvement of powers to local authorities there is to be more emphasis and importance given to petitioning, both in the traditionl paper format and in the newer e- petition format. This document sets out the new processes and invites a widespread consultation.
Take Part will be sending in a response to this consultation but we genuinely welcome comments that you might want to make. Please let us have comments by the end of February, by e-mail to tedhartley@mac.com
