Take Part goes to Westminster - February 2009

As part of the new Take Pathfinder programme for Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster, the WEA organized for 25 new learners to visit London in February 2009 and take part in the Lobby to secure adequate resources for community-based learning. The day was a big success with many of the participants visiting parliament for the first time and coming away feeling empowered by the experience.

This is a report from the Guardian making a couple of interesting points about the event.
